The Portuguese Paulo Alves is the new coach of Ohod
The management of Ohod announced on Tuesday that they signed a contract with the Portuguese coach Paulo Alves.
The management reached the deal with Alves after studying several Curriculum Vitaes and consulting Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus. Jesus praised alves and recommended him for Ohod.
The 48-year-old is the successor to former Paraguaian coach Francisco Arce, who was sacked on Friday after losing 4-0 at the opening of the 10th round of the Mohammed Bin Salman Professional League.
Alves took over his former team Gil Vicente, Beira-Mar, Portugal’s U-20 team.
During the Arce period, the team won a single match in the eighth round against Al Taawoun 1-0, while the team received 6 defeats in 10 rounds and tied on three occasions, making the urban team is in 15th place with 6 points.
