Spanish Botia saves Al Hilal from losing against Al Taawoun

Alberto Botia of Al Hilal rescued his team against Al Taawoun when he scored a 2-2 draw. The Sunday’s game was at the King Abdullah Sports City in Buraidah.

The match started quickly from the two sides and the Venezuelan Rivas managed to score the first goal of Al Hilal from a header kick prepared by Frenchman Gomez at 34 minutes .
In the second half, Al Taawoun intensified their attacks in order to equalize and Dutchman Danny McKeeley was awarded a penalty which was scored by Hildon Ramos in the 58th minute. Abdul Fattah Adam doubled the score with a second goal in the 64th minute. Spain’s Botiaequalized the score at 90 + 6.

This result raised Al Taawoun to 25 points in the fourth place, while raising Al Hilal to 36 points at the top of the competition table.
