Saudi team continued training for Iraq match in Superclasico
The first national team resumed training in preparation for the Iraqi team next Monday in the SuperClasico. This is part of the preparation program to participate in the UAE 2019 Asian cup.
Juan Pizzi, coach of the first team, started the exercises with a meeting with the players. He said: “You have performed very well against Brazil, and keeping our gains is our most important.”
The team took part in the training session at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium under the supervision of coach Juan Antonio Pizzi, who divided the players into two groups, the first of which included the players who played mainly against Brazil.
The second group of players performed a regular exercise that began running around the stadium, followed by a number of tactical sentences.
Meanwhile, midfielder Abdulaziz Al-Jabreen continued his special exercises with the medical team.
On Sunday evening, the team will hold their training at the King Saud University Stadium at 6 pm.
