Jeddah derby leads Al-Ahli to second place

Al-Ahli beat Ittihad 2-1 in Jeddah derby, in the 9th round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, at King Abdalla Sport City Stadium, Jeddah.

Abdel Fatah Eseri gave Al-Ahli the lead in the 13th minute, from a close range shot before Omar Al-Somah doubled the lead in the 37th minute, with a long range shot.

Zeyad Al-Sahfi closed the gap for Ittihad in the 71st minute.

Al-Ahli reached 17 points in the 2nd spot on temporarily basis, on the other hand Ittihad remained with 9 points, in the 12th spot.

A killer goal leads Al-Raed to beat Al-Wehda

Al-Raed managed to gain 3 points from Al-Wehda after defeating them 3-2 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in the second day of the ninth round of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League.

Al-Raed opened the scoring through Jalal Daoudi in the 42nd minute, before Al-Wehda equalized through Anselmo de Moraes in the 74th minute.

10 minutes before the end, Al-Wehda managed to score their second goal with a good shot from Godwin who converted a penalty in the 80th minute.

In the second minute of stoppage time Jalal Daoudi scored again for Al-Raed, before Raed Al-Ghamdi scored the victory for the hosts in the 90+5 minute.

With this result, the Al-Raed jumped to 11 points, ranking ninth in the table, while the balance of Al-Wehda stops at 15 points in fourth place.

Al-Hilal held with Al-Fateh

Al-Hilal held to a 3-3 draw with Al-Fateh in the 9th round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, at Prince Abdalla Bin Jalawi Stadium, Al-Ahsa.

Marwan Saadan put Al-Fateh in front after 8 minutes via penalty kick, before Saleh El-Shehri made it 1-1 in the 22nd minute, then Carlos Eduardo netted the second goal in the 37th minute.

Mitchell te Vrede scored a brace to turn the game around in the 77th and 88th minutes for Al-Fateh, before Bafetmbi Gomis made it 3-3 via a penalty kick in the 95th minute.

Al-Hilal reached 20 points in the first place, while Al-Fateh reached 5 points in the 15th place.

Headers lead Al-Faihaa, Ettifaq to a draw

Al-Faihaa held to a 1-1 draw with Ettifaq in the opening game of matchday 9 of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League.

Ahmed Basmoad put Al-Faihaa in front in the 75th minute from a header, before Hazaa El-Hazaa made it 1-1 via another header four minutes later.

Al-Faihaa reached 10 points in the 11th spot on temporarily basis, behind Ettifaq the 8th with the same record on goal difference.

Al-Faisaly return to victories through Damac

Al-Faisaly scored a 2-0 home win over Damac on Friday in the ninth round of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League.

Brazil’s Luis Gustavo opened scoring for Al-Faisaly in the 15th minute, before Khalid Al Ghamdi added the second in the 57th minute.

Al-Faisaly regained their victories after his first loss this season to Al-Taawoun in the last round, raising their score to 17 points and have a game postponed, while the balance of Damac stopped at 4 points in 16th place.

Al-Hazm rescue thrilling draw with Al-Adalah

Al-Hazm held to a 2-2 draw with Al-Adalah, in the 9th round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, at Prince Abdalla Bin Jalawi Sport City Stadium.

Ibrahima Tandia gave Al-Hazm the lead after 22 minutes, before Charles Andrea turned the game around by two goals in the 59th and 71st minute.

In the 93rd minute Mohamed El-Zebedy leveled the result after ِAl-Adalah keeper Ayman Al-Maslothi failed to handle his cross.

Al-Adalah reached 8 points in the 14th place, on the other hand Al-Hazm’s total points raised to 14 points in the 7th spot.

Al-Taawoun move 8th with a 3-1 victory over Al-Shabab

Al-Taawoun overcame Al-Shabab 3-1, in round 9 of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professional Cup League, on Saturday.

Heldon Augosto put Al-Taawoun in front after 18 minutes via a penalty kick, before Danilo Moreno made it 1-1 in the 47th minute.

Abdel Megied Al-Sawat regained Al-Taawoun lead in the 70th minute, then Leandre Tawamda saved the victory in the 80th minute with a third goal.

Al-Taawoun reached 13 points in the 8th spot, while Al-Shabab stopped in the 4th place with 15 points.

Al-Nassr overcome Abha to jump second by the end of matchday 9

Al-Nassr beat Abha 4-0 in the concluding game of matchday 9, of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, at Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Stadium, Riyadh.

Abdel Razzak Hamdalla scored a brace in the 8th by converting Nordin Amarabat cross into the back of the net and in the 46th minute via penalty kick, while Yehia Al-Shehri netted the second goal in the 26th minute which was assisted by Amarabat, then Petros sent a pass to Amarabat who netted the fourth goal in the 58th minute.

Al-Nassr reached 17 points to jump to the second place on the table, on the other hand Abha remained with 11 points in the 9th place.
