Ettifaq open MBS Professionals Cup League round 8 with a victory over Al-Adalah
Ettifaq overcame Al-Adalah 1-0, in the opening match of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League matchday 8.
Felix Kich netted the sole goal of the game with a follow to Rogrio Coutinho missed penalty kick, in the 70th minute.
Ettifaq reached 9 points in the 8th place on temporarily basis, while Al-Adalah remained with 7 points in the 11th spot.
Fouzair returns ِِAl-Raed to victories over Damac
Al-Raed’ returned to victories in Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, after defeating Damac 1-0 in the eighth round of the competition.
Morocco’s Mohamed Fouzair scored the only goal in the 53rd minute, returning the team to victories after a defeat and a draw in the last two rounds.
The result raises the score of Al-Raed to 8 points, occupying the 11th position in the table, while the score of Damac still 4 points in the last place.
Ten-man Al-Hazm overcome Al-Ahli
Al-Hazm beat Al-Ahli 2-1, in the eighth round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, on Saturday.
Brahima Tandjia put Al-Hazm in front from a long-range shot after 50 minutes, before Al-Ahli’s Abdel Basit Hendi made it 1-1 in the 70th minute with a follow for a ball returned from the opponent’s defense.
Mansour Hamzi gave Al-Hazm the victory in the 88th minute, after an individual performance.
Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology canceled a goal for Al-Hazm’s Carlos Stranberg, in the 25th minute, as the replay showed Al-Ahli player Abdel Fatah Eseri was fouled.
Al-Hazm’s Luiz Moralha was sent off in the 45+3 minute for a foul against Al-Ahli’s Djaniny Tavares, who was in a clear position to score a goal.
Al-Hazm reached 13 points in the 6th place, while Al-Ahli’s total stopped at 14 points in the 4th spot.
Al-Shabab stop Al-Wehda winning streak to go second temporarily
Al-Shabab overcame Al-Wehda 2-0 in the 8th round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League on Thursday.
Sebstiao Junior “Seba” put Al-Shabab in front in the 64th minute, with a header after receiving Christian Guanca cross, before assisting the second goal to Abdalla Al-Hamdan who made it 2-0 in the 79th minute.
Al-Shabab reached 15 points in the second place on temporarily basis ahead of Al-Wehda who dropped 3rd behind Al-Shabab on goal difference.
Al-Fayha come from behind to beat Al-Fateh
Al-Fayha came from behind to beat Al-Fateh 3-1 on Friday in the eighth round of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League.
Al-Fayha came back to victories after five consecutive games without any win, they lost three matches and drew in two, achieving his second victory this season.
Al-Fateh scored first through Marwane Saâdane in the 20th minute from a penalty awarded by the referee after returning to VAR.
At the start of the second half, Al-Fayha equalized by Samuel Owusu with a superb left-footed shot in the 48th minute, before Sami Al-Khaibari added the second goal from a powerful header in the 51st minute.
Ronnie Fernández finalized Al-Fayha’s goals in the 75th minute with a shot at the visitors’ net.
Al-Fayha increased their score to 9 points in 10th place, while Al-Fateh stopped at 4 points in 15th place.
Al-Taawoun secure mid-table place by beating Al-Faisaly
Al-Taawoun overcame Al-Faisaly 2-1, at King Abdalla Sport City Stadium, Burrieda, in the eighth round of Prince Mohamed Bin Salman Professionals Cup League, on Saturday.
Leandre Tawamba gave Al-Taween the lead in the 44th minute, before Al-Faisaly’s Igor Rossi made it 2-0 via an own goal in the 63rd minute.
Rossi compensated his mistake ten minutes before the final whistle by scoring Al-Faisaly consulate goal.
Al-Taweeen reached 10 points in the 7th spot, on the other hand Al-Faisaly remained with 14 points in the 5th spot.
Abha get Al-Ittihad’s points
Abha scored a 2-1 win over Al-Ittihad on Sunday in the eighth round of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Cup Professionals Cup League.
Abha took the lead through Karim Aouadhi from a header in the 22nd minute before Al Ittihad equalized through Romarinho from a penalty in the 60th minute.
In the 73rd minute, Abha rejoined the lead again through Reuben Gabriel, who took advantage of the rebound of the ball from the human wall of Al-Ittihad to send it into the net.
With that result, Abha raised their score to 11 points in eighth place, while Al-Ittihad stood at 9 points in eleventh place.
