Al Hilal reached again the top of the table of the Mohammed bin Salman Professional League after defeating Al Ahli 1-0. The match was at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah in the 27th round of the league.

The result lifted Al Hilal to 63 points, while Al Ahli remained at 46 points in the fifth place.

The team are now two points ahead of Al Nassr.

Al Hilal players dominated the start of the first half and threatened Al Ahli’s goalkeeper and had many opportunities to open the scoring.

The team failed to score until the Spanish defender, Alberto Butia, managed to put Al Hilal in the lead in the 43rd minute. The match ended with this solitary goal.
